I’ve tried on several bands and can’t seem to find any I love. My e-ring is a family heirloom from FI’s great grandmother. I absolutely adore it – it’s a yellow gold ring with a white gold illusion setting. If you have an illusion ring, post pics of your band! Otherwise, just send suggestions. Thanks

I think I would go classic with a plain band that matches the band of your ering

I would do for this ring like I would any solitaire. I don’t see how the illusion setting makes any difference.
Like the others said, go with a plain band.

oregonbride82 : I love your ring, vintage rings are soo gorgeous! I think there’s quite a few options that would pair beautifully with your ring. I’d probably go for something vintage too, or a plain band, or one with some milgrain details.
This would look pretty, I think

This would match up with the 2 tones

My e-ring is very similar & belonged to DH’s maternal grandmother. My wedding band is a plain gold vintage band with milgrain, & I have 2 vintage stacking rings as well (one ruby & one diamond). Not the best picture, my rings are all filthy, and the pic is probably huge since I’m on my phone. I personally found that vintage rings looked best; I didn’t think any modern rings looked or “felt right” with my ring when I was trying them on. Good luck!

A plain gold band or a plain mil grain band would look best I’m my opinion. Maybe even a gold band with some vintage engraving.

My illusion setting isn’t quite as distinctive as yours, but I wear a few different bands with mine.

I love illusion settings! Your ring is gorgeous. Congratulations! Does it sit high? You may have trouble finding a wedding ring that sits flush. Personally I like “the gap”. You could always go with a curved style band as well. Here are my rings. My wedding band has round diamonds with milgrain detailing.
