If you haven’t already you should write a post about the history of the chi pao or the importance of it to your family. I don’t exactly know what the history is behind it to be honest. :/ I actually took a wedding planning class and learned about the history behind weddings but for asian culture only learned about Japanese kimonos and the obis they wear which can cost up to $10,000! I was amazed! I don’t want to sound offensive because I would like to know about the importance it is for your mother for you to wear it! I am an American mutt with not much tradition in my family. I always admire it when I see it!
