I’m convinced the VS girls don’t tell you anything above a size Dirty Delete because that’s what they sell up to in the store. I really need to get properly fitted soon, I know my boobies need some more help. I think I’m also a 36E and I’m still wearing a Dirty Delete. Ugh.

Agree about Victoria’s Secret!  I’m a 34Dirty Delete (borderline E), as fitted in several reputable places, and VS kind of spazzed out on telling me my size when I was there with my sister.  Their bras run extremely small, IMO, and their DDs haven’t fit me in years.

I was recently properly fitted at Nordstrom and discovered that I am a 32G (or 34F depending on the type of bra), NOT a 38D like I wore all through high school and college. Seriously… amazing difference what a proper size will do. I went from looking heavy and dumpy, to just looking stacked! Lol.

Yes, proper fitting does wonders. I was wearing a 36B for years and then one day got fitted at a local store in my city instead of a big bra place and I was surprised I was a 34C. And since I have been wearing the proper bra I feel great and look awesome in my clothes! Seriously amazing.

@VegasSukie:  I definitely know of the place, and I have it on my radar.  I’ve been fitted at Maidenform, Bloomingdale’s, etc. in the past.

A great place to get discounts on larger-size bras is Nordstrom Rack.  I used to rely on Bloomingdale’s sale section, but the selection has gone way downhill.  I just got 2 Natori bras from Rack for $25 each!

Victoria’s Secret is a joke – they have never measured me correctly, and thier bras don’t last. I’ve never understood why people shop there!

I got measured at a good place like you after years of bad VS bras, and was a totally different size, too – everything fits so much better now, and my clothes fit better!

@hotchildinthecity:  Yes! Most of my bras are from Nordstrom Rack. It can be hard to hunt through everything, but totally worth it when you find your size.

I also recommend herroom.com. Huge selection in all sizes and a great return/exchange policy.

@MissFlowerPot:  Hah! That’s awesome! I’ve never heard anyone else use the term, especially for their “man-chest” area! Bahaha.

@MissFlowerPot:  I call my boobs that and Fiance hates it. He says all he can think of is hairy balls on my chest.

As a 36F, I totally understand what you mean about what I good fitting bra can do for your body.  Wonderful, wonderful things!

I get fitted at Nordstrom but I agree with the PPs that I have gotten some great deals on really nice bras at Nordstrom Rack.
