! Omg…. I’m about to order invitations and now I’m wondering id I should do the same! WHAT a thought…..hmmmm. THEN AGAIN…. My dad is paying for it…. and it would be less work… But I’m so cheap I KINDA wanna do it just to feel like I saved money! Such a Great idea!

@smactley: No, not unless you plan to resell the stuff you had printed.  It’s for her personal use only.  What is vista print going to do… hunt down her guests and say. “Hey we’re the invitation police.  We think you have black market invitations.”

I used vistaprint for my graduation announcement postcards (again, they are 28 cents to mail, score!) and they looked GREAT but they felt a little cheap.  I found overnightprints.com and 123prints.com, both of which have better choices of cardstock to make them feel more like a postcard.  

123prints also has linen paper that you can use for invitations, for really cheap too!

Wow, looks great.  Good idea.

Oh, I’ve done my fair share of making copies of my husband’s artwork  to pass out to friends and family and I noticed that it makes better copies if you make copies from the original. 

So I would definitely see a difference in quality if I made a copy from the original versus a copy from a copy of the original.

Here are the Engagement Party invitations we also printed using Vistaprint. The large sangria color one is on linen paper and I think it is very elegant looking in person. The little pink and black one is a postcard on glossy stock!
