364 days to go! Thing is- it’s been anywhere from 95-105 degrees here for the past few days! I know I can’t judge what the weather will be like next year, but what are you ladies doing to “heat proof” yourself?
I’m already planning on having cold drinks and maybe program fans for my guests. My Fiance and I are even joking about having baby pools instead of chairs at the outdoor ceremony haha- sadly, I’m not sure he’s joking anymore!

Hi date twin! 😉 It’s 95 here and even with the AC cranked up I’m miserable! I’ve decided to nix the idea of an outdoor ceremony after these last few days. I already called a church I was looking at as an option and booked my date. My only concern now is outside photos. I actually did some engagement photos for a couple I know last week, and they were a sweaty mess after 15 minutes. I guess I’ll have to make the outside pics short and sweet.
I too will be providing my guests with lots of water.

Our wedding is July 1 and I’m SO WORRIED about the same thing! My biggest concern is the outdoor photos because we’ll be inside the rest of the day for the church wedding and then reception. The reception venue has gorgeous outdoor gardens thatwe would love our guests to be able to use but it wouldn’t make or break anything if it was too hot to go out I guess. I did make sure to buy a light-weight dress instead of heavy satin or something so I won’t be AS much of a sweaty mess all day. I’m not too worried about making accommodations for hot guests simply because they don’t have to be outside if they don’t want to!!

we just had our wedding july 9….it was allll outdoors and hot! lol we had program fans and water and decided to have everything start at 6pm to try and beat some of the heat….by the time the reception started (7:30ish) it cooled down enough for everyone to forget they had sweated out through the short ceremony…all in all, it turned out awesome!
if i could go back i would’ve added more shade like cheap parasols for guests to use if wanted…..other than that….i think it went well weather wise 🙂

We have fans in our colors, and will provide water for the guests. We also are getting marrid outside, but there will be a pavillion near by that we are letting justs know they can sit in until the minister comes to “seat” them (we are only having seating for 10 or 20 due to the short nature of our ceremony).
That’a all I’ve got to keep cool. I will be wearing a short dress, so not too worried about me. But I really like the hot weather!

Fiance was the one who chose to get married in July. I wanted to do it in October. So, of course, my number one concern has been the heat. We live in the south, so I knew I had to plan for my guests’ comfort (if at all possible?). We decided to get married on the beach for the nice ocean breeze, instead of marrying inland, where we live. Also, our wedding will be at 7 PM, so the sun shouldn’t be too harsh during that time. We’ll also be providing iced bottle waters and paper fans. We don’t want a long ceremony, by any means, so I plan to keep it short, sweet, and simple.
