You’re comfortable! Nothing wrong with having a little quiet, sweetie!

Well, my ability to create interesting conversations ebbs and flows too.  I think though, with the wedding preparations, you can’t help but have only that on your brain!  I have to make a conscious effort not to talk about the wedding sometimes, its crazy!

Welcome to my life! To be honest, Mr. Peng and I rarely really talk (like have deep convos) at home. We take weekly hikes, go to the gym together, or go out to eat, and that’s when we really talk. I can’t think of the last time we were just sitting in our house together, engaging in deep conversation. 🙂 So, it’s ok! Just be sure you get your dates in… whether it be free, like hiking, or going on long walks, or a fun and fancy dinner!

Tying to force yourself to find something to talk about just makes you draw a blank!  Don’t let it worry you, that’s normal.

If you’re worried that you’re becoming one dimensional why don’t you think about doing something new and interesting?  Read a book on an interesting topic, take a class, go see a site in your city that you’ve never been to, get together with a friend you haven’t seen in a while, check something off your life to do list.  It’ll give you a little more excitement and will certainly give you something interesting to talk about.

I think that’s just natural unwind time! Before R and I lived together, we talked alllll the time when we were together. But now it’s not so pressured because we need some downtime to recharge from our days!
