Hey Bees! I’m a newbie and figuring out how to post things attractively is not working, and I don’t see a delete button! Anyways, I was looking for some advice.. I tried to add the pictures in order as I told the dilemna, but it’s being difficult. Here’s attempt #2!
My wedding is in October at this location.. (I absolutely love it!) It overlooks the water and is gorgeous at sunset!
So I originally was going for this tuscan, old world theme, but I’m finding more and more “naturey” themed items that I love for the fall. The only problem? I dont want it to look like I’m trying to have a fall picnic at my wedding. I still want people to use the word “elegant” when they describe my wedding. Do you feel I’ve gotten too close to Fall picnic with the following items or do you feel like these can convey the feel I’m going for.
This is the color scheme I’m going for
I’m keeping all the linens champagne, and adding my colors with the flowers. I have 30 tables, and that is a high ceiling so I’m trying to add some height with some of the centerpeices. Here’s idea #1, I stole from another Bee on here.
This looks so cute, I was thinking about doing this on 12ish tables but with my color scheme and no diamonds.
On a few more tables maybe 10, I wanted to do a wreath with berries, kinda like the one below but in wreath form, with 3 pillar candles in the middle at various heights.
Does that make sense?
On the remaining tables, I would like to do a curly willow type centerpeice to add the height. So on about 8 tables or so.
Once again, in my color scheme though.
My head table is a long table at the head of the dance floor. I was thinking just strictly putting candles at various heights down it. Either wrapped like the picture below or just plain glass.
Finally for favors I was going to DIY my own candy apples and also wrap up his mothers homemade hot chocolate mix which we’ll also serve at the wedding.
Do you feel I’ve gone too outdoorsy with it? I don’t feel I could mix these elements easily with the floral urns and give it a tuscan theme, or do you think I could? I would really like some ideas! Thanks so much for taking the time to look it over!
