@mwitter80 Hahaha!  We live so far from civilization, we’re never up on the trends.  I’ll have to tell him his cowboy shirts are cool!

I wish mine was!!!!  Consider yourself blessed!!  I have to beg my husband to shave his head and goatee.  I repeatedly tell him that t-shirts that have holes in them should be trashed.  He wears white socks all the time regardless of what color pants he’s wearing.  His favorite shirt to wear around the house actually has the collar cut out.  As much as I love this man, he seriously needs help in the fashion department and he won’t respond to my encouragement.  UGH!!!

Oh my goodness…I thought that Fiance was metro-sexual until I read this thread! He takes longer getting ready for everything including bed! OL

i WISH her was more metro!! I always tease Kingy that he is the poorest looking well off man I’ve ever met haha. His favorite pair of jeans have a hole in the crotch, as do most of his socks. He lets me give him pedicures sometimes- getting the dead skin off and making his nails clean and even- but he’s so secretive about that even! I told him that when we get back to Chicago, no more of this barefoot with boardies and a t shirt look everyday- he fits in her in Aussie land but it wont fly in Chicago!

For our wedding, my husband had a custom-made Brooks Brothers suit, a custom-made shirt from Larrimor’s, and a $125 tie (I believe also from Brooks Brothers). Total, his outfit cost 3x what mine cost. One of my friends “wins”, though – her husband’s outfit was 4-5x what hers cost.

No. He thinks Febreezing a tee shirt qualifies as doing laundry.

You did say on another thread that you used to to date a woman, so maybe you’re just attracted to people who take care of themselves in a meticulous way? I wish my husband was a little more aware of his appearance sometimes and would not go to the store in flip flops, ripped khaki shorts and a plaid pajama top.

@mwitter80 Oh I know. I’m actually confused as to my own dating tastes, because I’ve always dated guys who can’t dress and don’t take great care of themselves (and married their king) but I have a major thing for men who appreciate tailored suits and going to the barber for a real shave.

Think Ben Affleck when he was with J-LO. Always tanned and well groomed. Yummmmm
