It seems like it’s been forever but I must say it’s nice to be back. I really missed the hive.
I didn’t go anywhere; I unfortunately became incredibly ill and have been in bed for 10+ days. I can honestly say that I have never been so ill in all of my life…to a point where I didn’t think I would be well enough for the wedding. I had a constant fever for days, slept 20 hrs/day and didn’t even have the energy to lift my head.
My son was here visiting us and the one day I just didn’t feel well enough to go out and do anything with him so he and my fi went out and did “guy” stuff together. That night, in the middle of the night, I fainted on the way back from the washroom. I didn’t know what happened. When I came through and opened my eyes, my fi and my son were kneeling over me calling my name. They carried me to bed and they nursed me back to health. I won’t get into the details but can assure you that I am feeling much better. My energy is still lacking by my mind is alert and all I can think about is all of the wedding things I have to do. I feel really behind now.
I knew that my fi was wonderful before but after the past 2 weeks, he has even outshone himself. I thank him for that.
It’s nice to be back. I look forward to catching up on recent posts.

What a scary experience!
I hope it is nothing too serious that’ll come back in the future.
Glad to hear about how wonderful your Fiance was taking care of you.

Oh wow!! Eek!! A couple of years ago, my daughter ended up getting very sick on a trip and fainted too. Luckily there was an ER nurse that serendipitiously happened to see her fall at the airport. And I can’t thank the Frontier Airlines folks for helping us finally get home!! (After she & baby received care at a Denver hospital).
