Woo hoo! I remember your goodbye post so I’m happy to see you back with such good news!  I wish I had something useful to add – all I can suggest is to schedule an appointment with your doctor.  FX for a sticky baby Bee!

First of all congrats!! I had bleeding off and on the first few weeks of my second pregnancy and everything was fine! The amount of implantation bleeding can be different for everyone. But I do still recommend that you go to the ER or somewhere you can get a quick transvaginial ultrasound just to be sure. Goodluck and again congrats!

JLFinch :  for me that was normal…obviously I’m no Dr,  but unless you’re having strong cramps and the bleeding gets heavier…I vote congrats are in order 🙂

Your post made me smile so hard, I am SO happy for you!!  I would get to your dr asap to inquire about the bleeding.  Since your bleeding is light and it’s more of a “tightness” than cramping, I would assume that’s implantation bleeding and your uterus stretching for baby , but only the dr would know for sure 🙂  Huge congrats!!!

Congratulations! Do not go to the ER (or even Urgent Care) over cramping and spotting at this point. If you were having a miscarriage (which I don’t think you are) there is absolutely nothing they could do. Unless you are bleeding so heavily that you’re filling a pad within an hour or feeling lightheaded/dizzy it is not a medical emergency. Mild cramping and “stretching” feelings are also totally normal in early pregnancy. So is spotting. Do you already have an OB-GYN office? Mine has an on-call service you can use during nights/weekends, if yours does too, I’d recommend calling them tomorrow just for reassurance. Your doctor may order progesterone and/or HCG testing to help confirm that things are moving in the right direction.

TTC is for sure a big waiting game, but in a lot of ways so is pregnancy…waiting for the first appointment, then all the weeks between appts, waiting to hear the heartbeat, feel movement, start showing, find out the sex, etc etc. What helps me (especially in the first trimester) is to just take it one day at a time. When worry starts to get overwhelming, my mantra is “today I am pregnant”. Other than following a pregnancy-safe lifestyle there really isn’t anything I can do…if a miscarriage is going to happen it will happen, whether I worry about it or not, you know?

Congrats!!!

Going to the ER isn’t necessarily a bad thing since they might give you an US to see what’s going on. I’d be tempted to go if I were you, just to get the US! Lol I’m sure the bleeding is scary! Good luck!

Unless you get extremely sharp pains I wouldn’t go to an ER but you need to see your doctor soon. Call them and tell them what’s going on. Best case is nothing is wrong or its just a progesterone issue they can correct fast.

I had a completely normal period but then a BFP. Turns out I had an ectopic pregnancy and most other people I’ve heard of it happening to also ended up with ectopics.

JLFinch :  awww so glad to see you here.  I had the exact same thing happen to me.  My doctor told me that can happen sometimes and it’s just fine.  My pregnancy didn’t turn out the way I wanted and we are still here but I hope it’s good things for you!

JLFinch :  Ahhhh so happy you are back and even HAPPIER to see your post!!!!!! I’m so so excited for you! Like other PP have mentioned, spotting is normal in the 1st trimester. I had it a few times as well. Just keep an eye on it and talk to your doctor if you feel concerened.

Totally agree with

LLEU : Being pregnant is a waiting game just like TTC, especially in the first trimester. I always hear pregnant people say how fast their pregnancy has gone by and I’m like, what? I feel like I’ve been pregnant FOREVER haha. I just take it one day at a time!

Again, so glad youre back!!! I’m hoping the very best for you! <3 <3 <3
