Ewww I haven’t even thought of this but I’m pretty sure I will be on…on my wedding day. Ugh ….. No good! Hope you get some helpful comments on this!

I haven’t used it, but supposedly the Instead cup keeps things clean and you keep it in while having sex. Might be worth looking into…

Just so you know…if you go to your OB/GYN right now and explain that you want to hold off on your period during your wedding, there are meds you can take (such as BC pills) that can allow you to hold off on your period for your special occasion.

That’s one of the first things I though of when we were setting a wedding date.  I definitely do NOT want to have to worry about that on top of all the other stress!  Luckily, I’m in the clear…whew!

Luckily, my periods are light enough and short enough that even if I start the DAY OF the wedding, it wouldn’t be the end of the universe for me.  Also, August is the first month that we will be TTC so maybe I’ll even be KU for the wedding.

I *tried* tracking mine, but picking the date over a year in advance… I am not sure how accurate it will be. My cycle seems to last anywhere from 28-34 days… which makes it even harder to predict.

Luckily, my fiance isn’t too grossed out at the time of the month. I am more worried about getting cramps that day and frequent bathroom trips in a big dress!

I was supposed to be on my starting the day before the wedding but I altered my start date with birth control pills. Talk to your GYN- it’s really easy to do.

I have tracked my cycle, but when I get stressed my period comes late, which worries me.  Right now, I’m on track to get my period a week before the wedding, but with all the stress, it might come around the wedding.

I can’t take birth control because the hormones make me CRAZY, but it is definitely something to consider if you really need to change your cycle.

I tracked mine on my phone with the “P Tracker” app. works like a dream because it changes your future schedule based off of each month so you can see if you’re irregular or pretty normal!

I was normal before I started birth control, and so when I did take it, nothing changed about my schedule which is fantastic because I was perfectly set up to have one one week before the wedding and one week after the honeymoon!

If you want to take control of it, and aren’t against the pill, I take the lowest dose possible and its worked wonderfully. You can “skip” periods by skipping the placebo pills and that would bring your week of…ya know…to the week before the wedding instead of the week of the honeymoon!
