Sun tanning, in a tanning bed.  It clears up acne for me in about 3 sessions.

Your acne is most likely being caused by stress, given your current situation and the fact that it won’t go away.  Try to be nice to yourself and your skin this week – take long walks, do some yoga, have a glass of wine… stay away from harsh cleansers (that will just make it worse), drink A TON of water, try to get lots of sleep, and moisturize.

If you have big cystic pimples, dermatologists can inject them too, which helps.

Try making an emergency dermatology appointment.

I agree, don’t put stuff on your face you haven’t already been using. If it is stress related, adding new skincare products your skin hasn’t acclimated to can exacerbate the issue. I would lay off makeup and things like that until the day of the wedding to give your face some time to breath. You could also cover your face with a warm hand towel in the shower and gently massage to get the blood flowing. Hope everything works out!

DON’T TAN using real sunbeds… it really damages your skin! I know it improves spots, but it’s totally not worth it. Try a medicated facewash, with a peroxide cream for the spots. It is probably stress based though, as the other posters say. So you will struggle.. I have the same problem! Good luck!

@eagle:  Agree, and maybe they can also give you a prescription for an antibiotic.

When I need some emergency skin care, I use rubbing alcohol…it kills all the bacteria that is causing the breakout and dries out any blemishes…it does dry your skin out a lot though so you may need to use an oil free moisturizer afterwards.

I agree with the other posters that suggested making an emergency dermatologist appointment.  In the meantime, my Future Sister-In-Law swears by putting a drop of toothpaste over a pimple overnight.  I never tried it but she has great skin!

Ok, I’m going to be the outlier here in my advice, but…diet played a HUGE role in helping with my acne, which was severe enought that the derm reccomended accutane. I know this isn’t by any means a quick fix, in fact it’s quite the opposite. I cut out all dairy and wheat completely, and my skin has never looked better, it was seriously miraculous after how many years I had struggled. Now, you obviously don’t have to go all out like I did, but it’s worth thinking about diet playing a role if this is a chronic problem for you, and you’ve tried everything the dermatologist has reccomended – it sounds a lot like what I went through. But one thing no dermatologist or doctor will never tell you is to change your diet, and voila, here I am. Maybe at least consider going to a naturopath or holistic doctor of some sort – they will make reccomendations that don’t involve simply throwing different drugs at the problem and hoping it helps. I know this opinion might not be popular, but it has helped me so much and I thought it might eb worth sharing!

Tea tree oil could help kill bacteria… honestly it’s probably weather change or stress causing it, though, in which cause it’s best to just take care of yourself and relax. Go to a higher end drug store and ask someone to help you cover them up. They have products to cover tattoos that are very thick and will last all over your body all day. Good luck

Same thing happened to me but I got it to clear up by drinking nothing but water (no sugary drinks, soda, etc) no fried food, washing my face morning and night plus using medicaded pads (like Noxzema). To the PP who suggested tooth paste, I can tell you it works WONDERS. Dab a little bit on each pimple before bed and it sucks them right up. I know it sounds weird, but it really works.
