First response early result. Clear Blue is garbage.

I know in past posts you mentioned also feeling different while waiting for AF. Unfortunately our brains play those tricks on us. Try the FRER today but you should get a positive at this point if you were pregnant. Even the dollar store tests work, but I have not heard good things about the clear blue.

I agree FRERs are best, but while CB aren’t great, if it’s the day of your missed period you should be getting at least a squinter on any brand pretty much (minus maybe digitals). Are you 100% sure of when you ovulated?

I used a clear blue digital June 26th and got a “Not Pregnant” I went and bought some cheapies from our dollar store and got positives June 28th. Ive heard those clear blues suck to. But also agree with another bee, when waiting to get pregnant or AF its easy to get “symptoms” because your brain tricks you.

i always ask this. how do you know you are late? Do you know the exact time you ovulated? have you charted enough to know when your period is due within a 3 day span?

If you are in fact late then it doesnt matter what brand you use they will be accurate.  Test again tomorrow if you want but then wait 3-4 days after that to test again.

I had a million symptoms all the months i was not pregnant, and nothing really the month i was. Remember that most symptoms women “think” they have are not pregnancy related.  Usually you dont get true pregnancy symptoms until a few weeks after your missed period when your HCG is high enough.

Prettysmile40:  most likely you’d be getting a positive result at this point.  Sorry about the BFN.

Prettysmile40:  I agree with PP who said that most symptoms women “think” they have are not pregnancy related. All the cycles we had a BFN, I was convinced that was it, something felt different. The one time I got a BFP (was early loss), I was convinced AF was coming. Now we are doing IUIs with using a trigger shot, which is pure hcg, the pregnancy hormone, and I have no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever, even though have “pregnancy” hormone in my body. Absolutly no symptoms.
