Well I might sound very silly but I dont understand what color is my dress? Is it ivory ot is it champagne? I know that the pictures doesnt do the justice because they are taken at the evening with bad light (on is with flash, other is without).
Why I am asking is because i ordered a veil from ebay in color ivory but it came yesterday and to me it looks white. And now Im confused – because maybe that veil was ivory but my dress is in champagne? :DOr the veil was white and my dress is ivory? 😀
Anyway i cant use the veil which came in because well… there was hole in it but I got refunded and everything is fine.
Now im thinking do I really need a veil? Maybe not. Im just very confused because I dont know how to accesorize… Help? 🙂
no flash …

It’s very pretty, but I think we’d need to see it in neutral light to judge the colour properly!

Who is the designer and the dress # ?? It’s probably Ivory.
If you know that information, look it up on the designers site, it will tell you their options in their dresses, White or Ivory…etc.
I love that. Looks great on you! Curious to know the designer.

They could both be ivory. Every designers colors are different. That’s the problem with ordering a veil online. Will they let you exhange for a darker shade? Your dress is beautiful btw.

thanks, I also thought its in ivory but yesterday I got confused.
I dont know the designer the only thing which is written on label is “Madeca”and made in germany. Thats it. And I cant find anything about it online.
They wont exchange, they refunded me money for the veil and I got to keep it but I cant use it because it was ripped. so Im still without a veil 🙂
Thanks, I also like my dress, in the picture i was holding it behinf my bacj because we dindnt have time to lace ip uo so it looked too big on me 🙂
Thanks for all your opinions 🙂

Best Bridal Prices carries some Modeca; all of the tulle dresses they offer are either white or ivory. However, they don’t have your exact dress… So I guess I’m not really telling you anything you don’t already know…

Pretty dress! It look ivory to me, softer than stark white. Champagne would be a little more yellow.

Dress shopping I was really shocked at the variance in ivory from designer to designer. Even between material to material in the SAME designer. Some ivory dresses were more white to me, while some ivory dresses were really what I think of when I think ivory.
I know that didn’t help you (lol), but maybe if you decide on going the veil route it would better to see the actual color in person?

@julnecaaaa: for me it’s kind of hard to tell because of the lighting, but based on the second picture, it looks ivory. Champagne would be a little darker. I would try to get a veil from a shop where you can exchange if needed or take your dress with you to compare. Unfortunately, different people have a different idea of what color ivory/white/champagne are 🙁 I hope you can find something that matches perfectly for you! 🙂

I’s say its ivory. Every dress designer has their own version of ivory. I think its very pretty on you!

Thanks, I also thought champagne is more yelowish colour.
Yes, it seems like ivory is very adjustable color to designers. now I will have a problem of ordering a shirt from a tailor for my fiancee without showing him the dress and the color.
and yes, Im thinking about shopping for a veil in actual shop. Thats in case if I decide to go with a veil. I still dont know. Im not that of a big fan of veils (when I was shopping for a dress they also put a veil on me and I expected that I would feel something but I was like ok, nothing special 🙂 ) but on other hand when else I will have a n opportunity to wear a veil…?
