My birthday has come and gone without a ring, and I no longer anticipate a ring for the holidays, either. (Okay, okay, I want a promise ring for the holidays, but not THE ring haha!) I feel completely at ease and calm. The plan is Mr. Beary and I purchasing a home together, and then a ring. It’s practical, it’s a slow process, but it’s the smart thing to do. It’s also going to go by faster because I’ll be busier and helping save money. I landed a decent job! I start in a few hours for training. . . yay! 😀 I’m just enjoying every moment with my man and loving it — and him. 🙂
Just updating you ladies because it’s been a while. But I am finally PATIENTLY waiting doing the things I love to keep me preoccupied.
I hope you all are doing well and have a very happy Turkey Day! What are you planning on making? I’m thinking turkey, yams, cranberries, green bean casserole, rolls, and delicious homemade cherry and pumpkin pie. . .yum!!

Oh goodness your making me feel hungry with all the yummy food you mentioned! I am glad your in a good waiting place, though I find waiting comes in emotional cycles of happy, sad, impatient, content, don’t care anymore etc. Hold onto this phase for as long as possible! 🙂

@bookworm88: I soooo know what you’re talking about! It’s funny, because my SO bought me a beautttiful cross to add to my jewlery collection. He gets points from his work which equate to money, and they have a website that you can redeem these points at. . .he was looking at engagement rings and asked which ones I liked and such. It seems like he talks more about it now that I don’t really ever mention it. He’s always telling me, “I’m working on getting us a house and starting our lives together.” It seems you get a better response when you just let things go their own course and not worry about it!
@spaneshal: I know exactly what you’re talking about! I’ve been in this state for a month and a half now, and it’s pure bliss! I’m definitely going to try to hold onto it for as long as I possibly can! 🙂
