I had the same problem. I wanted my dress to be antiquety but it was an outdoor garden reception. But who cares if it doesnt match anything else. All that matters is that you feel special in it and its what you want. Who cares if people think it doesnt match. You picked it because you liked it. Do you a have a picture of it? Its hard to help without a visual.

It doesn’t matter. Really, it doesn’t. If a bride can wear a full princess skirt ballgown to a registry office wedding then why can’t you wear the dress you fell in love with to your wedding? Trust your gut instincts and go with the dress you love.

I’m slightly confused why you bought the second dress. You said the first dress didn’t match your style, so you went shopping again and picked another dress that still didn’t match the style? lol

I can understand where you are coming from because I am very particular about things matching, almost to a fault. However, when it comes to something as important as your wedding dress I think you need to go with the dress you truly love. I doubt that the guest will notice the style difference as much as you do. They will be too busy noticing how beautiful and glowing you look on your special day.

I think that dress is simple enough to go with whatever decor you have planned.  It doesn’t scream “antique” to me.

What do the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses look like?

Pretty!  I love the color of those.  I DO think they work together.  It helps that they are satin and so is the skirt of your dress.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about, as far as matching.  Did you figure anything out for the beads that are irritating you?

That dress is gorgeous! When you said antiquey I was picturing something completely different but I think your dress is beautiful and would match really well with navy bridesmaid dresses. It’s a simple enough style that it should match with pretty much anything. I love it! 🙂

I don’t think that dress is antiquey, i’d say it’s got antique elements but it looks pretty elegant. The dresses seem like they’ll be a good match especially in navy, if you were going some other brighter color it might be different but your color scheme goes really nicely with the dress and definitely works the whole elegent vibe together. Great dress for an outdoor wedding.
