My ring porn site of choice is ringenvy.com lol I know I just enabled your habit but there’s really no harm in looking is there? ;o) I was the same way, looking at rings constantly while waiting. It’s a good distraction method!

I can completely relate! Although my engagement is still at least 6 months away (i think), I’m constantly looking at rings and reading threads on this site. It’s actually helping me to stay sane! But I am noticing when I take a break, I’m not as excited and I remember to live through my relationship and my happiness right now instead of other people’s. So just enjoy your SO and the few weeks you have of a naked finger! It doesn’t hurt to stare at rings all day though! πŸ˜‰ Like you said, it keeps you from blurting out about wedding this, or ring that to your SO. Have fun with it! Keep us updated! =)

I say browse at rings all you want – whatever keeps you sane!

Just don’t book/buy anything yet!

Look to your heart’s delight! There is no harm in just looking and if he asks for what you like, you can give him some examples of ones you like so he has an idea of what style you would choose for yourself. And you have the right idea, come on ehre and talk to us when you need to get it out. We love hearing about rings πŸ™‚

haha, same here.  Months ago, I showed him 1 ring I like.  Now I’ve found 3 I like.  I’m really tempted to send him links of all 3 so he can choose 1.  Lol.

@impatientlypatient: Are you looking at rings and talking to him about it?  If so, I can see where that would cause him to ask you to stop looking at rings.

Now, if you’re just looking at rings, and dreaming about them- then go for it!

I think a lot of guys feel “pressured” when us gals talk about things– it makes them feel like they have to “do something.” We all know how we can talk to our girlfriends for hours about shoes, and it doesn’t mean we expect our friends to go buy us some Jimmy Choos!

i’ve never seen faycullen, i must check it out. my SO pretty much told me to stop looking at rings too. i have to be sneaky bout it, or tell him its work research, haha.  I understand what you mean though! MY SO is glad i found this site, but he rolls his eyes when i start a sentence with “so on the weddingbee site…”  πŸ™‚

if you are sure he’s bought the ring, but be wary of what ou say, cause if you say WOW this halo is amazing, and he didnt get a halo, he might be a bit put off…

Haha, I tryed keeping my ring window  shopping addiction to myself. Poor SO I changed styles on him so many times. It was pretty funny b/c I didn’t know he had bought the ring and I was still ring shopping online like a mad woman. He nearly fainted when I told him I wanted TOTALLY DIFFERENT style and he was kept saying “No, no, I like the last ring you liked the best out of all of them” (because that was the one he ordered).  ROFL.

Perhaps we should start a rings-anonymous group.

Last night SO said, “Is there ever a day that you don’t think about diamonds?!”

Ummm. . .NO?!?!  πŸ™
