Big Sur is a remote area in central Cali, between San Francisco and LA, it’s so pretty, it’s unreal. The mountains rise abruptly above the Pacific Ocean and the highway 1, although curvy, uncomfortable and definitely slow, is totally worth taking, because you have this amazing views, many national / state parks along the way and the forests and the ocean are like out of this world.
Napa is lovely, relaxed, charming, perfect weather and quite the foodie town. When you go, consider the “White House Inn”, its a small bed and breakfast, very cute, comfortable and intimate. Totally recommend it.
