- Wedding: December 2009
I know. I know.. I’m talking about my skin again, but at least this time it’s sort of good!
I just started it last night. The MA who did my wedding makeup suggested it after I questioned him on what I could use that might improve the surface texture & discoloration from old acne scars. He showed me the tube of it & said it’s practically medical grade and if I used it as directed, I should be able to see visible improvement in as little as 4 weeks (the back of the box says 8 weeks, so we’ll see). After talking to hubby about it (because the one small tube of it was $50!) he said that would be fine, especially since he knew I had already considered going to a dermatologist, which would be substantially more. So, I’m giving it a shot. Twice a day (sheer enough to wear under makeup & not oily) & hoping it will work! I took a pic last night of my face before & in 4 – 6 weeks I will compare & look for signs of improvement.
I really hope it works, even a 50% improvement would be great! Hubby says I worry too much about it, no one else even notices, blah blah blah.. but I DO!!! I can’t feel good about myself if what I see in the mirror drags me down all the time. I want smooth skin! I want a smooth canvas for makeup application! I don’t like being able to turn to the side & see the shadow on my face from old scarring. It sucks.
So there. I’ll let you all know if it works! 😛
