Oh man! That sucks!

I am also on the patch. I have scars all over my stomach! In the begining it used to ITCH like crazy but now I guess it is gone.

Sorry that you are having a tough time with it. If you can wait it out, I would try but if not try something new.

@SweetRose2011: You are just falling apart at the seams! I hope you feel better soon. And I agree with you, get back on the pill.

Can you call your doctor and ask if you can just restart the pill now?

I had a similar experience with the patch and ditched it like a bad habit.  I ended up on seasonale and loved it. There’s nothing better than 4 periods a year, except for chocolate and pizza 🙂

When I went in for my consultation for birth control a couple months ago, my gyn said that she rarely recommends the patch for anyone. I’ve been on the pill and liked it, I was just bad about remembering to take it. Two of my best friends use Nuva Ring and both of them love it, so that might be worth looking into.

In the end, I’m getting Mirena. I’m getting it put in next week. I know a couple people who have had it and love it. I’m looking forward to the no fuss, no remembering, no worries. Apparently, most women stop having a period completely on it, which will also be amazing.

@mwitter80: I tried seasonale before and it didnt work for my I had spotting during month 2

Over all Ive found that Yaz is the best for me. Back in the day I use to be on Orthro Tricycline and I even tried Depo but Ive been on Yaz now for about 4 years. The patch sounds like a nightmare if its scaring your body… my thoughts about the patch made me wonder how I felt about having a sticker on my body for a week

@SweetRose2011: Nope. They lasted 3-4 days and were much better than the periods that I had before that.  I never had any issues with spotting. My sister is on it too, during the first set she had spotting when she would have normally had her period the first month, but then nothing from there.
