I know, I spent most of my money on the DJ. Cuz I just want EVERYONE to have a GREAT TIME! I actually took some advice from you helper bees, and I think I have found a student to come out and photograph the wedding! YAY! Cross your fingers for me that it pans out!

@Carolyn72: we thought we couldn’t afford a photographer. I hadn’t budgeted for it because I had no idea how expensive they are – the sky’s the limit, eh? However, I ended up employing a photographer from a website that sets up students/photographers looking to build up their portfolio with, with clients. So we now have a lovely and VERY talented girl doing our pics and she’s doing it for a super bargain price of £250 – I think that’s about $300.
It was a UK website, but you guys probably have something similar. Or are there any art colleges in your area? When I was an art student I would have bitten off your hand for a bit of commisioned work. Hope you can find someone, but if not you will have a lovely day. If you can encourage your guests to take lots of photos and forward them to you you can get some beauties.
