@MissKathleen:  Don’t stress πŸ™‚  Dresses can be altered, and if this is your first child you might only barely be showing around 4 months.  Just pee on the stick, take a deep breath, and deal with whatever the outcome is.

Also, if your period is late, it could be due to just ovulating late.  If you’ve been stressed out, or sick, or started a new exercise routine, or any number of things you could easily have delayed ovulation.

This is how “much” I’m showing at 4 months pregnant (16 weeks).  You should be fine if you are pregnant as far as fitting into your dress.  However, it is exciting/scary/overwhelming when you first find out, even when you are trying to get pregnant!  I remember taking a test and being all, “What the he** have we done!” Haha… but I promise that as soon as you get over the initial shock, you will most likely be ecstatic.

Have you ever heard the saying, “If you want to see God laugh, make plans?”  Sometimes things just happen and they aren’t the timing you would have hoped for, but they turn out to be something that makes you happier than you could have ever imagined.  Like danelady said, you might not even be pregnant at all, but if you are, 1) let us know, and 2) everything will be ok!!! πŸ™‚

Do not stress. Being late dosn’t always mean you are pregnant. Even if you are, everything will be okay and you can get your dress altered.

@MissKathleen:  +1 to everything the darling @cowgirlace said!  I just shot a wedding for a bride who was 4 months pregnant.  When she told me she was pregnant I couldn’t believe it!  Her dress was very fitted but laced up in the back which gave her a little extra room for her super small and super adorable bump.  Congrats if you are pregnant and keep us all posted!!!

@MissKathleen:  I’m in the same boat as you! Just found out we’re pregnant and I’ll be 14 weeks at the wedding (I thought it was only 12, but my math was way off).  I’m having a corset put into my dress and just hoping for the best!

My period was about 4-5 days late this month and I am TTC so it was driving me quite nuts.  Im almost positive that my vacation to Cuba somehow messed up my cycle though.  Ive read that traveling can affect your body in weird ways.  Either that or it was just a longer cycle for some reason. Did you travel at all (my dumb keyboard wont make question marks sorry!)

It really could just be stress. My period was late for three months leading up to the wedding and I was even on the pill. Weddings are stressful!

@MissKathleen:  I have definitely had the same scare! I’m glad you got your period AND it works out for your timeline! πŸ™‚
