Maybe get some balls put in or a ring snuggy?

How much bigger than your finger is it?

It goes on the inside of your engagement ring. Surely a half size isn’t that bad?

But if it is, use a  sizer.

I’d think sizing beads would be just fine. Especially if its a wedding band, you’ll wear it inside your e-ring, and normally want it a tad looser.

.25-.5 isn’t much at all. Fingers swell in summer and with pregnancy. I wouldn’t bother to replace it right now.

Because the entire ring is a setting. To cut It they would be COMPROMISING the entire structure.

They can weld or crimp a bar inside to take up space , or put sizing beads. Or you can solder it to your wedding  band.

You could also buy a ring guard /wrap/enhancer insert, in the right size and pop it inside

Sizing balls are not visible, can help prevent spinning and are commonly used in such circumstances. If you had your finger sized when the weather was a bit warmer it could easily measure a quarter or half size larger than it will when it’s turned chilly.

chrissy2019 :  Sizing beads are probably your best bet. Since the ring is not sizable, some wiggle room is a good idea, fingers swell and ring sizes change. My eternity band is a size 5, my engagement ring is a 4.5 and my finger is a size 4, the size difference between my rings is 100% not noticeable and I like having breathing room in my rings.

You could maybe get a thin, plain band to wear on top of it to help keep it in place?

chrissy2019 :  The right size could be 5.5 in the summer and 5 in the winter. Finger size fluctuates and you need to select for your larger size. Also, you’ll need the ring to be a tad larger when you add another band to it. If you have any other ring in your house put it on with this ring to see how much tighter it gets.
