Congratulations on making your decision.

I too have struggled with do I or don’t I. I decidied do I.

The majority of our guests will be family, and they all love to bake, so we are giving homemade vanilla as favors. It was the best choice for us.

Yay for you! I did the same thing with programs and place cards! I’m doing a map style thing so people can see what table they are at but that’s it! THey can sit next to whoever they want!

ANd the program? TONS of time I am NOT investing and tons of paper not wasted. I worked on weddings for the zoo near us and we would ALWAYS have to toss dozens of beautiful programs. I always kept one, for the thought, but such a waste and so sad to see how pretty they were and just toss them.

I was thinking maybe just using napkins with name and date and maybe match books with name and date…Everybody uses matches.  But I am kinda leaning to no favors.  It would save a ton of money!

We are having a Destination Wedding and just decided to skip on favors! People will probably end up leaving them on the ship anyway (its a cruise wedding). The only way we will do favors is if we gift everyone with an underwater camera!
