@Mrs.Lonestar: Dont get involved..its not worth the drama. Your mom defended your fiance already and it seemed like the girl backtracked so there is no reason to bring it up to her again. Itll just be really awkward and uncomfortable.

There is no point in arguing with genuinely stupid people.

@KatyElle: Well said. If i had a nickel for every time I encountered a stupid, judgmental a-hole, I would be Warren Buffet.

if it were me, I’d very calmly and cheerily say “yeah he’s SUPER gay – why?  does that bother you?”

There’s no response to people being judgemental about someones sexuality that doesn’t end up sounding defensive – if you say something like that, there is literally NOTHING she can say back to you, other than “uhhhh” (and feeling like an ass)

It’s not worth the drama but I have to say I wish I had listened to a few people who told me that about my ex.

Who cares. Let it go. It’s your life not hers, you should have nothing to prove.

I would question her on what lead her to get a ‘gay vibe’.  She’s being ridiculous unless it invovles something like seeing a guy checking out other guys.  Comments like this tend to annoy me and I try to call people out on it.

Sounds like she’s chock full of her own issues.  I’d let it go.  Some people just aren’t worth the energy.

Maybe she’s gay and can’t find a way to tell everyone, maybe she’s just gaging everyone’s reactions…
