Ahhhh, I’m so excited! I can barely stand the 11 hour wait!
I’ve had my last car (2006 Hyundai Tiburon GS) for almost 6 years!! It was my first car that I bought and paid for. I was 18.
Now I’m upgrading to a 2012 Hyundai Tucson GLS!
I’m so excited, but I am kind of sad that tomorrow morning will be the last time I drive my Tibby. It feels like a part of me. Hopefully the new car with all the fun new features (how sad is it that I’m almost most excited about cruise control?) will cure me of my sentimental blues quickly.

Congratulations! I was always sentimental with my old cars, too, haha. I’m sure the “new car smell” will take care of that!

@Juliepants: Yes! And I’ve already got my first new car vent freshener on reserve! So excited!

Darling Husband and I just got a Hyundai Sonata a couple of weeks ago. We test drove the Tucson, but I felt like it had too many blind spots.

@misskoala: The Sonata’s are great cars too! I’m probably a Hyundai buyer for life. You just can’t beat the warranties, and my last one went 5 1/2 years (before I traded it) with zero problems. I probably could’ve driven that car for another 5 no problem before any major maintenance.
The Tucson does have a lot of blind spots that I will need to get used to. My boyfriend really wanted me to get the Sonata, but I didn’t like how cramped I felt in the front seat of them. My former car was a Hyundai Tiburon, and even though it was only a two door, I felt it had WAY more front seat leg room than the new Sonata’s. Plus, I’m also partial to having a hatchback.
Here’s the new girl! Haven’t named her yet. (Actually, I never named my last car either…)
