@couawilou:  We use our tablet to basically surf the Internet and play games. There are a lot of free apps you can get for the iPad that are great time wasters 🙂 I’m not sure how much you are paying, but shop around to make sure that you are getting a good deal first. If you look around enough there are some deals to be had on older iPads.

iPhoto on the iPad is great. They integrated a bunch of editing features during the last update that rival PS. It was very handy when it came to our wedding pics. You can get iWorks (pages, numbers, iMovie, etc) to use also. Numbers (which is like Excel) was really handy when I was wedding planning since I had all of my spreadsheets and stuff with me at all times. I love having iMovie on my iPad since it’s home to our wedding video which lets me play it whenever I want to.

The iPad is a great device. You’re gonna love it. If you have any questions, let me know. I’ve been an iPad user since the beginning and Darling Husband is an iOS developer.

@OtterHalf:  I agree.

You can snag a refurb straight from Apple for crazy cheap. I’d check into that first before buying it through your company, OP.

It’s addicting, this much I know.

I have replaced my laptop with it and use much more than a toy.
