Hello fellow bees!
I am brand new to the site but I have been lurking for about a month now. I was just wondering how some of you out there cope with the waiting!
I have a lot of compounding, exciting things happeneing. My SO are both seniors in college, so in a couple months we will 1) graduate, 2) celebrate two years together and 3) move in together! I’m moving in with him and his family, and we have spent several months preparing the basement (it’s a lot cuter than it sounds, I swear) for when I move in. That way we can pay off our student loans and save up for a place. We’ve had so much fun prepping together!
Anyway, on top of the inevitable senioritis I’m going through right now, along with the excitement of a job hunt and moving in with my boyfriend, I know we are getting engaged in 2013! I know what ring I want (which he is likely getting,) and I know we are getting engaged after graduation. I’m even pretty sure I know how he’s going to do it, or at least where. Let’s just say I will be getting a lot of manicures this fall 😉
We have done a lot of ring shopping and prep over the past month, and we are vacationing to Ireland with my family in a few weeks.
There are so many exciting things coming up, and I’m defintely getting antsy! How did you cope with your waiting phase?

Congrats Me and my Fiance (now) are seniors as well graduating in May he proposed last monday! We are planning a move to Florida if I get a job there and will start planning soon. Overall, waiting is hard and senioiritis is a B *** doesnt help the waiting process. I stayed sane by watching shows on Netflix and reading books to be honest. But welcome and good luck! and Welcome

Ahhh it all sounds so exciting!!! Congratulations on all of these exciting changes!! 🙂 my SO is now saving up for a ring so hopefully (if all finances go to plan) it could happen hopefully within the next year! We’re both studying as well and have been living together for a little over a year. It’s such an amazing time and I really wish you and your future fiance 😉 the best of luck!

@aquarius_91: our situations are quite similar! I graduated college 3 years ago… but a year ago, Boyfriend or Best Friend and I bought a house together. Now I’m about to start my dream job & we’re on a waitlist to get a kitten together!
He’s also told my dad to be preparred for that certain “talk” this year. And he’s promised me it’ll happen before our next anniversary (Nov 21st). So i know EXACTLY how you feel! Lots of amazing things going on & just ANXIOUSLY WAITING for that ring!!

@theEguarantee: A kitten?! That’s awesome! And congrats on the job! So many great things happening for you 🙂 But yes, it totally seems like the LONGEST wait for the ring!

@aquarius_91: I cannot give you any advice on coping, as i’m hopelessly impatient myself, but I did want to say welcome!!
