I’m trying not to freak out, but it’s really hard not to. I’m leaving for Florida on Thursday the 25th, for my March 27th wedding, and yesterday I came down with a cold. I have so much to do these next few days before we leave, but I’m trying to put everything on the back burner until I feel better. I just don’t want to do to much and get worse. What should I do?

The more you worry about being sick and not doing things, the worse you will be. Trust me, I was there a few weeks ago. Not getting married, but in the throes of major planning. Just take care of yourself – take one day off and sleep – and don’t worry about the little things. I know, easier said than done!! I hope you have a great wedding this weekend!

Lots of fluids! Chicken soup? Orange juice? Try and rest as much as you can and see if someone can take care of the last minute stuff for you. You need to feel your best. I hope you feel much better, but either way, your wedding will be fantastic 🙂 Good luck!

Yes … sleep and LOTS of fluids! Also, take some zinc or other vitamins. If you have a runny/stuffy nose, make sure you’re using good, soft tissues (with lotion) so you don’t get a red nose. Feel better!!! 🙂

Sleep, vitamins, Emergen-C (lots of good vitamin C in there)… I like Xycam because I think it shortens my colds. Also Zinc drops help. A friend of mine also suggests using mouthwash to help kill any bacteria that’s lingering in your mouth.
Try to delegate stuff too- you def. don’t have to do it alone!
FEEL BETTER! 🙂
