Don’t sweat the small stuff! Most likely, something will not go according to plan. It’s ok! Don’t let it bother you…just enjoy your day!

Count on at least one major thing going wrong. Expect it. Normally, it will happen, but if it doesn’t be pleasantly surprised.

Don’t try to hold back the tears, just smile through them. It will make MUCH better pictures and you will really see the moment. Have fun!!!

Get a good nights sleep tonight and tomorrow let your maid of honor or who ever is helping you handle all the details. You just enjoy your husband and enjoy every second because it goes way to fast.

Enjoy yourself, and don’t kiss him until they say “You may kiss the bride.”

Congrats and have fun!

I have never been married (lol) but as with anything, I’d say remember to stop and be in the moment. One friend told me that she doesn’t remember every word of the ceremony, or many of the little details, but she took the time to take little “memory snapshots” throughout the day for herself to remember forever. She still remembers the little smile her husband gave her right before the recessional – she took his hand as it just began to drizzle outside as they walked down the aisle, and the incredible smell of the garden at that very moment.

Tell your husband-to-be to remember to do the same thing – and maybe your guests? Some people are so busy trying to frame up a shot on their iPhone that they don’t stop to really experience the moment that’s unfolding right before them.

@megan26:  Don’t sweat the small things!  If there are issues or things go wrong, look at it as something that you can laugh at later.  It’s not worth ruining your whole special day over!  Smile

Also, if you haven’t already, provide the photographer with a list of “must-take” photos so that you don’t forget anything because the day ends up getting a little hectic sometimes!
