I am not usually the type that gets nervous. I can dance on the bar and have a good time and not care about what anyone thinks. I am starting to get really nervous that I have to be center of attention for the day and don’t really understand it. The biggest part is the ceremony. Here I thought I would have a small private ceremony but it isn’t. I am not that nervous about the reception just walking down the aisle in front of hundreds of people. UGH. The last few days have been full of anxiety and this awful feeling in my stomach everytime I think about it. Hopefully, I can just stare at him and those nerves will go away. Anyone else have any advise on how to fight the nerves? (I already have a spa day planned on friday) 🙂

@Miss2Mrs_Beerlover: DATE TWIN!!!
and i can totally relate. and i have already had a taste of it when I had my bridal shower, it was a surprise. I walked it and froze, i looked like a deer in headlight and i was shaking like a leaf. As soon as i went to my table, I had a glass of wine and loosened up.
So I am going to take full advantage of the cocktail hour so I super ready to walk onto the dance floor and not be shy!!! LoL

@Miss2Mrs_Beerlover: oh, and I am extremely nervous about walking down the aisle. You know what my fear is..FALLING..I went to a christening at the church I am getting married at with my FI and I walked in and grabbed him and stopped, he looked at me and said, are you ok, and I looked at him and I said David, this aisle is realllllly long! He laughed and said, you will be fine! Just take your time and look at me. lol

@Daizy914: I don’t think Im nervous about falling. After 4 knee surgeries, due to sports I don’t wear heels anymore. Plus, my aisle is the beach! 🙂 I feel like Im going to freeze too just at the end of the aisle like I forgot how to walk. I always get that fear when I play piano for a big event. Right before I start playing I have this wave of OMG I dont remember how to play a single note! Then I play the first note and its like riding a bike. That makes me feel better like after the first step it won’t be so bad. Thanks!!!
@dvillecreek: We should have an aisle walking workshop. I don’t know if I am supposed to just look at my FI or smile as people are staring at me. 🙂 I’m just glad I will only have to do it once… hopefully 🙂

@Miss2Mrs_Beerlover: I had the same problem but didn’t actually think too much about it until the day before during the rehearsal. I did get nervous being up in front of everyone at first but during the ceremony I refocused my attention on my groom. After the ceremony it was awkward trying to take photos and get everyone together for photos. I think if I had to do it all over again I’d have a list of photos I wanted my photographer to take. I think it’s normal to be a little nervous but it helps to just stay focused on your purpose.
