- Wedding: November 2010
I should preface this by saying that I’ve been very. very fortunate in my wedding planning and I feel so lucky. Little to zero drama, we’re *pretty* sure that the money will be there, and I’ve really been enjoying the planning and the DIY projects that I’ve set for myself. To top it off, my design scheme is managing to pull itself together very nicely.
…except for the bouquets. Or “bouquets” whatever the case may be. I don’t have a lot of money in the budget for flowers (around $200 which is fine for me), and so I keep trolling the internet and weddingbee looking for different ideas.
The trouble (luckily or unluckily depending on your view) is that I have SO MANY options. A bouquet made up of roses from Safeway, a bouquet made of garden roses (yum) from my Mom’s garden, a bouquet made of feathers, one made of paper flowers, one made of flowers which are made of feathers, made of wire, etc. etc. etc.
I’ve considered them all and I keep playing with them, trying to mix and match without winding up with a convoluted design theme and every time the only thing that I’m left with is that I want a bouquet. I suppose I could do a bit of everything since I love love LOVE different textures. Oy.
Anybody work with this kind of issue? Any ideas? Anyone who successfully mixed and matched?
