Wow that is crazy!! My DH’s dad had a kid with his second wife when my Darling Husband was 24 I think. I’ve never met the kid though he lives in Canada.

I’m almost 26, and I have sisters who are 4 and 7. When I first found out my Mom was having more kids, I was totally upset. I was wrong. Being a big sister is one of the most amazing parts of my life and I couldn’t love my little sisters any more than I do. You are so lucky! It will be amazing.

Two of my FSIL’s are 3 years old (twins!) and I love them so much! They are seriously precious and I’m so glad I get to be a big sister to them so early in their lives. Future Mother-In-Law remarried about 5 years ago and her new husband only has the twins as biological children and he still wants more, but Future Mother-In-Law is 40 now so I’m not sure they’re going to keep trying.

My favorite part about having siblings that young is that the pressure is off me to give everyone grandchildren!

my dad married a much younger woman and they tried for years to have children.  their first daughter (my half sister) is only 11 days older than my son and their second daughter is 3 years younger than my son.  yes, these girls are his aunts.

Not me personally, but my best friend’s father has 3 children under the age of 5 and he just had twin baby girls last month! She is going to be 26 this year and her stepmom is I want to say 28-30? They live in NY and we live in FL, but she makes time to visit them once a year and loves buying gifts for her young siblings. Plus, the little ones just idolize their much old sis 🙂

Oh wow! You will have so much fun with them! And if you and your future husband decide to have kids, they’ll be the nieces and nephews of kids who are not that much older than they are 🙂

I just had to come back and share a pic of me and my little sisters (and my mom!) because I’m so obsessed with them, and I know you will be, too!

Sorry the pic is so obscenely big…

My brother’s GF’s half-sister is 20 years younger than her.  She said it was scary at first with her Mom being older, but she loves her lil sis to pieces and wouldn’t have it any other way!

All the best!
