At least I’ll be limping with my father, who limps as well. We’ll limp together down that aisle because nothing is stopping me from getting there! Lol.

That’s the spirit! I’m sure you’ll have an amazing day despite the temporary handicap! Good Luck and break a leg!  ; )

Aww that sucks!  Ice it and elevate it a LOT (I never wanted to do this after my broken ankle but it truly does make a difference).  My dance teacher’s daughter is getting married in a Destination Wedding in 2 weeks and her husband-to-be just tore a ligament in his ankle and will be in a cast and on crutches for his own wedding!  I hope your toe feels better soon.  That’s cute about you and your dad limping together. 🙂

Have you tried taping your toe to the toe next to it?  That should help.  And I bet it will feel better in another week!

I broke my toe when I was 15.  Taping it helps tremendously.  Ice, elevation, etc.  =)

Have you got one of those “broken toe shoes” that straps on?   I think it makes the world of different in allowing you toe the space to heal so it wont hurt as much!  Hope it gets better soon!

Oooh thats no good. Sometimes you can find them at drug stores in the “old people” section (as my dad calls it).   LIke where they have the knee braces and crutches and etc.

Good luck!!!

My friend broke her ankle four weeks before her wedding.  She was off crutches by the wedding, but she was limping and couldn’t wear her pretty heels.  Instead, she jazzed up some white tennis shoes (just like in Father of the Bride!) and wore those.  She got some adorable foot pictures of her and her bridesmaids!
