So, I thought I knew what I wanted for my wedding. Fall. Pumpkins. Black. Orange. Silver. A little Halloweenish here and there.
But I saw a picture from another spring wedding and I almost died! Now, I’m not sure what I want!
Nothing is really set in stone… I have bridesmaid dresses (which may still work if I switch themes?) and My wedding dress, which will still work. Everything else can be painted or changed to to match.
A summer or spring wedding probably be more budget friendly…seeing as I can have it outisde. But I absolutely love the Fall. My Fiance and I are college students, so money is an issue! He says he’s happy to do whatever I want, but I really don’t know what I should do!
Should I have the more expensive fall wedding that I have already been planning? Or, should I save some money and change things to have an outdoor Spring or Summer wedding?
(And just so you know, I love both ideas, that’s why I’m so torn! HELP!)

Hmm, I’m having a hard time imagining how a summer wedding would be less expensive…it’s peak wedding season! Lots of vendors give breaks to people that have fall/winter weddings.

Oh…I forgot to mention, I live in the country and have lots of friends with land, so the venue would be FREE! 🙂

Wait, you’re having it in California? I think fall and spring are your best options for budget…although neither work so well during the semesters. Consider what your class load will be like first before you switch your plans. Maybe write a pro/con list? I found everything in California to be extremely expensive in summer especially things you don’t really think about like hotel rooms, flights for your guests. In the end you should go with what feels right and what seems like a more reasonable option for your budget.

Also consider whether your friends’ land can accommodate your guest list (sufficient parking, restroom facilities, etc.)

My dream was to have a fall wedding, but I’m having a spring wedding. The biggest thing pulling me to spring was our anniversary is spring. I’m also a college student so a spring wedding would be after the semester and a fall wedding would be in the school year. If it’s not really about money I would go with fall. You can have an early bridal shower in spring maybe? Maybe even a birthday party. lol. I just love love love the fall. The fact that you live in the country adds to the ease of the feel of a fall wedding as well.

i started with a fall theme too because i thought it made sense, but have what you want! We’re doing a garden party sort of feel in October. 🙂 don’t follow trends, follow what you will love now and always!
