I’m doing mauve-y purple, off-white/ivory, and light gold.  With some pops of fuschia (stargazer lillies).

I think yellow would really pop with dark purple!  Or even a greenish color (think of the top on an eggplant).  What about some gold accents?

Dunno if it would help b/c I’m using a lighter purple, but here’s my inspiration board:

jbbaby – the lighting is actually supposed to be purple, but reflecting off the draping on the ceiling, it looks rather fuschia!

I’m using pale pink as an accent color.

I’m also using a dark purple/plum color. I Finally decided on dark purple, blush/pale pink, ivory, green and silver.

I used some of Mrs. Peacocks photos as inspiration.

Yellow looks nice! I had a friend who used purple and green and it turned out really well!

We’re doing dark purple, lavender, lime green with touches of light gray and pale pink. Purples look great with greens and pinks.

I may be a bit biased, but I loooove dark purple with orange.
