bunny4rmlove:  Do you want to buy something or are you open to DIY?

Can you take a picture of his dogs and have that framed for him?

Or, get someone to do a line drawing of the dogs from the pic?

I second a line drawing like the picture above. I bought Darling Husband one for our first anniversary

For Christmas I had an artist do a watercolour painting of our two pups for my fiance. He absolutely loved it!

Maybe you could find a decent artist who can do a portrait of you, your Fiance and the two dogs together?

I got Darling Husband a dive watch to use while scuba diving on our honeymoon.  Why not get him an accessory he could use with the pups, maybe new hiking harnesses for the pair if you’re into that sort of thing, or for a DIY idea you could bake all of them a basket of homemade treats and tuck in a few toys for each, rope toys and dog biscuits for them and cookies and something fun for him.

More on the sentimental idea you could get a “family” themed picture frame of all of you.  Or, depending on the style of your wedding, you could surprise him with something like this:

Most of the ideas here are too impersonal for my own taste, i.e. they have little or none to do with your wedding and the important bond between you two. So, just throwing in some fresh ideas here – they could be easily tweaked to incorporate the dogs somehow:

DIY portrait shots with messages to your Fiance (you could include some promises for your married life in the style of “I promise to show you every day how lucky I am to have you in my life”), this is super cheap, yet cute: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/347973508680443046/

They sell kits to make pawprint stepping stones in the majority of arts&crafts stores (or you can DIY how to do it on your own, i.e materials).  I think that’d be an awesome gesture, as it’s something you can keep forever.

You could wrap it with a note that says “As we take this big step in our lives, I’m glad we have your pups by our side!” or something like that.
