If you don’t care to see all of the pregnancy post on here you can click on “Wedding Related” beside “All Post” and it will go away.

@littleprettyliz: If you select “wedding related” at the top of the page, you’ll only see those post and none of the rest.

I think there are different boards that have different topics for a reason. There are quite a few pregnancy/baby posts but I feel like there are equally as many, if not more, wedding related posts. I understand what you are saying but if you stay on the ‘wedding related’ boards you should be able to avoid all of those other posts 🙂

If you only want to view wedding-related posts, just clip on “Wedding Related” at the top.  Many bees want to stay a part of this community after their wedding, so it makes sense to have boards to discuss pregnancies etc.

Well, you can browse by topic, I mostly stick to rings/waiting, stay away from the baby stuff and refresh on “all posts” to see what takes my fancy. Plenty of space for everyone!

You can easily filter out any baby or ttc related posts by choosing “wedding related” at the top left 🙂

Most of our soon to be brides, stay on the Bee after their wedding, and one of the next steps in life is often conceiving and giving birth. Some women like to start trying before their wedding, some people get pregnant before marriage. All types of things going on! We support each other through all of life’s journeys

@littleprettyliz: We were here for our weddings first and created friends and a community that can support us. So we stayed. You can sort the board topics and not ever have to see the pregnancy/baby posts if you don’t want to.

Remember though that the ladies discussing pregnancy and babies have been here for awhile and you don’t want to offend anyone or turn them against you.

@littleprettyliz: I clicked on wedding related and didn’t see a single pregnancy/baby post

A lot of bees find that they like the community so much that they stick around after their weddings. 🙂 I myself am a married and pregnant bee and have been a member for 2+ years. Just think, who would be given out that good “been there, done that” advice if all of us left? We strive to be an open and friendly community and that means being inclusive to those in other stages of life as well.

If you prefer not to see the nesting topics, just go to the top of the page and click on the “wedding related” board filter. That should make it so you only see the wedding topics and not the baby/TTC ones.

Welcome to the hive, btw!

I’m finding it difficult too.  I’m facing IF and there is baby stuff everywhere on the front page.  I’m guilty of posting tonight in those forums, but it does make it hard to come to the site while I’m hurting.

The topic ‘I’m here for wedding advice- why are all the board topic about pregnancy/babies?’ is closed to new replies.
