@NJmeetsBX:  I hear, ya, girl. I try not to take it personally that I didn’t get blogged and that he only put 6 of our photos on facebook, but then I see other weddings for which he posted even less and feel better… but when he posts, like, 20 pictures from one wedding… I get sad 🙁

And I love my pictures… which is why it makes me sad! I’m like, these are SOOOOO good though!

@PizzutiStudios:  There are lots of reasons we don’t blog everything. Sometimes it’s because we want to submit it to a publication that’s exclusive…

Very good point. We had a gorgeous wedding and I was really surprised that several months later our photos still hadn’t made it onto our photographers blog. Come to find out we got a call from a magazine saying that out wedding was going to be featured thanks to our photographer’s submission…exclusively. Our photographer put us before his blogging needs which would have been voided had he himself featured us.

@NJmeetsBX:  I had that and it was for similar reasons (although we ended up not being blogged by a big blog because a wedding magazine got in there first). I was ripped to shreds when I complained about it here, though.

We had two different photographers – one for our epix and one for our wedding and so far, neither has blogged us.

I’ll be honest; for photographer #1, we weren’t really that happy with how a lot of the pictures turned out and didn’t really feel like they met our expectations, so when other people got blogged extensively and we didn’t, it basically cemented the fact in my mind that these photos were not good. When this photographer tried to convince us that they were indeed fabulous and consistent with the rest of the blog/portfolio, it seemed hard to believe since many clients were added to the blog/portfolio/social media postings after us.

For photographer #2, we haven’t been blogged either, though to be fair, only one couple has been featured since our wedding and we know there has been quite a number of other couples since then. However, we really loved the photos from this round and they are quite consistent with the photographer’s portfolio, so we don’t actually mind that they weren’t posted. These photos were shared with our DOC and florist, who did blog about them and posted them to FB.

I’m toying with the idea of submitting it to SMP or one of the other blogs/magazines, but we haven’t gotten around to it yet.

While I’m sure there are lots of legitimate reasons for it, I’ll also whine about it if my wedding isn’t blogged!

You have to give it some time as well.. If you just got married in the past few months check back.. I haven’t blogged all my summer weddings yet, Im waiting for a slow blog time. One Im waiting to submit to wedding blogs.. A nice blog post takes time to do, its not a 10 minute process.. Finishing off final delivery for other couples is first priority not a blog post.

Also remember we are not Required to blog you.. Please dont get offended if you’re not, its nothing against you at all. We get busy and sometimes we want to blog a wedding that suits our style more as a photographer. Our blog sells us, we do whats right for our business. This does not mean your wedding or you was anything less than another couple. Also please, please, please dont ever doubt your wedding or yourself just because you didn’t get blogged!! 🙂 If I didnt blog you yet you can bet at least a couple of your photos do make to my gallery, its quicker to add a few photos to a gallery than to do a whole blog post.

When I used to post on facebook (deleted my FB, sorry Ive become anti fb since its become a publicly traded company, cant stand the greed!) it was never an amount of photos per wedding that were uploaded I just picked some of my favs of the day and what I had time to post so my couples had some teasers. It may be 5, 10, or 20..

Please, please, please take no offense.Laughing
