@tnbellebee:  I love audrey hepburn in case you didn’t notice πŸ˜‰ haha. Men ! *eye roll* I have to say I’m with you and would probably rip his head off as well. Pregnancy hormones make my highs super high and my lows something to be scared of. I’m working on it but think it’s a totally normal part of being prengant right now, especially in the early trimester.  Hang in there and for the record I think your ‘look’ sounds totally adorable! You rock that hair, girl. Sometimes I think men don’t know what they wish for. Darling Husband wanted me with shorter hair but I know for a fact I feel and look better with longer. I only wish I could rock a pixie! πŸ™‚ I think women who can should totally do it!

Ugh my husband does the same thing. I think it’s some type of caveman instinct they can’t shake, something that in the male brain, long hair = healthy = fertile lol. Obviously not relevant but so many men feel this way I think there has to be some evolutionary bias for it.

My husband has always been clear that he prefers long hair, and I grew my hair super long for the wedding, and recently did a post wedding chop. Welp, the hairdress chopped off 3-4 inches more than I ask for and I came home crying lol. I desperately wanted me husband to tell me it looked good anyway, but he just couldn’t do it! He told me I always look beautiful, but couldn’t  quite get himself to say that the hair looked good…just that it didn’t look terrible lol. Normally I appreciate that he doesn’t lie to me, but in that moment I really could have used him telling me that it looked awesome!

I’m with you as well. I have extremely curly hair that get’s crazy when I let it grow. I’ve always had short hair and I often get compared to  Betty Boop ,Betty Rubble and Snowhite (always by kids tee-hee) and it’s my “look.” When Darling Husband first met me I was experimenting with long, straight hair. I hated and hastily chopped it off. ever since then Darling Husband complains he liked it long. So before the wedding I told him I’d grow it out for him and suddenly got all pouty and said “but your short hair is so cute.” I guess sometimes it just takes a reminder. But I say rock it anyway. Or you could always give it a try. If it looks as bad as you say it does, maybe he’ll change his mind ;D

Short hair is fabulous. And as long as you’re happy, I don’t see why he should care. As my SIL says, “some women get a new husband when they want a change, I just get a new hair cut. Which would you prefer?” πŸ™‚

@Sunfire:  “But, for some unknown and very odd reason ALL MEN say such lame-brained things sometimes.” This is 100% true.

I’m pregnant as well. My boobs have grown and Darling Husband commented the other day about how awesome they are.  Lucky for him, he finished it with “……oh, but of course they were awesome before they got bigger as well. You look great either way. Really.”

I really really love short hair. I haven’t had it in years and get tempted to go back to short every so often (especially when it takes nearly an hour to dry and straighten my hair). I think you should go with what you like best. Just remember, guys say stupid things sometimes. Everybody does. But your Darling Husband loves you. And he did say it looks good!

You had longer hair when he met you.  He fell in love with you and probably always hope you’d grow it back.  The vast majority of guys like longer hair, it’s more feminine, just a fact πŸ™‚ Can’t blame the guy!

@tnbellebee:  It is my opinion as well as majority opinion.  That’s why the VAST majority of women have long hair.
