It’s possible that you did not ovulate this month if your HPT’s are all coming back negative.  Do you chart your cycles and temp at all?

I would make an appointment to see your doctor and have them do a blood test.  It could also be possible that you are pregnant but that there’s not enough hcg in your urine yet to yield a positive test.  I’ve known women who still didn’t test positive on an HPT until they were 6 months pregnant!

Also:  The HPT you are using might be the culprit.  I hate the digital tests.  I would take the FRER instead.

I did not get a positive test until I was 9 weeks with my second child.  I went through many tests and many brands.

@CRF150r:  It’s actually normal for a woman to have one anovulatory cycle per year (anovulatory meaning you do not ovulate)!

@CRF150r:  No problem.  I used to work at a fertility clinic, so sometimes I forget that what might be common knowledge to me might not be to others!  The more research you do, the better!  I would still see a doctor though, just to make sure things check out and give yourself some peace of mind.

Strange isn’t it… I’m currently on cd46 this cycle (10 days “late”) and hpts are coming back negative too. I was thinking what the pp said about a possible annovulatory cycle. Hopefully things hop back on track for you!

@CRF150r:  Oh good.  I just wanted to add- consider having your thyroid checked- I had a very very late period and negative HPTs, and I went to the doc- she said she always checks thyroid first thing because it can cause late or missed or irregular periods and sure enough- I had an imbalance!  Now I am on meds.  Just food for thought.  Amazing what one little glad can do!
