I think the best thing to do is go to a make up counter like at sephora and have them teach you lots of tips and tricks on how to apply make up This is what I did for my wedding and I learnt a alot from them and was able to do my own makeup.

I think what you have is a good start but the blusher just seems too much and too close to your eyes

I think you look really pretty actually! I would def do a little bit more of a darker lip, just slightly darker. Also maybe try a lash lengthening mascara if you’re not doing false lashes. I do think the heavier eyeliner helps though!

You look great but personally I would go a little darker on the eyeshadow and lips.

I think you’re beautiful.  I also agree with the darker lip color.

What do you imagine for yourself on the big day?

I think this is a good base. I would go darker with the liner for sure.

I actually like your cheeks! If you normally wear black liner I would go with that because it will make your eyes pop, I agree with the slightly darker lip ๐Ÿ™‚ ps you look so great cant wait to see the final project!!

more dramatic eyes, slightly less blush, and in a different color, you are clearly a “cool” tones person, but some blush with a little warmth would be nice ๐Ÿ™‚ and darker lip – just slightly tho!

You look beautiful but . . . I’ve been a makeup artist in the past so this is what I personally would do differently for you:

– I’d do some more shaping of the brows and filling in with pencil (you’d be amazed what this can do to pull a look together)

– I’d also tone down the blush (however much she did put on) to something a little more peachy or dusty rose instead of bright. Just something that has less pigment.

– More/darker shadow in the creases of your eyes and not put shadow so close to the bridge of your nose. I like to keep it lighter on the inside to avoid a sunken-eye look.

Bring the eyebrow to a point or square towards the nose using a powder or liner slightly lighter than your eyebrow color. I would stay away from a rose blush since it can look like skin issues in HD photos, try a peach. I am not trying to tell you to do an overhaul, but I do it for a living ๐Ÿ˜€

You are beautiful so don’t worry.. but I agree a darker crease is needed. The look you want is a look you have every day, but dressed up. Like yourself with a little extra “wow” factor.

Look at my site [Post moderated for self promotion] and scope out the blog. Not trying to push my services since I don’t even know where you live. But check it out and look at some things, try looking at celebrities you resemble and build on that.

good luck!

1. Don’t go darker on the lips.. IMO it never looks better unless you’re going for an old hollywood bright red lip. I love makeup, wear tons daily but never a dark lip it just looks soo..bleh, not just on me but on anybody… again just my opinion though.

2. Brow shaping will help alot ๐Ÿ™‚ You could also fill them in with an angle brush and dark brown powder to complete the look and really frame your face.

3. Go with black liner, less thick. If you want you can smudge the edges out and up to soften it still.

4. Choose a darker eyeshadow in the same color family as the one you are wearing and use it in the corners of your eyes, blended into the outer corned of the crease to give the eye a bit more depth.

5. Your skin/hair/cheek color combo is freaking gorgeous, I am so jealous! Go with a lot more blush, rosy pink is the most beautiful thing in the world with fair skin and dark hair. It’s so snow-white ish.

Remember that makeup never photographs as intensely as it really is either. And looking at your pics as someone who doesn’t know you, it looks like you are barely wearing any so don’t worry! You are gorgeous.
