If you’re looking for some added sparkle,I’d buy the glitter spray for silk flowers instead of painting the edges. Its more subtle and works great. I used it on a real bouquet (spray for real flowers, tho) for my daughter’s wedding a few weeks ago.

Sorry, but I’m not a fan of the ribbon.

I agree! Nice and subtle but pretty.

I’m not a fan. I think the babies breath makes it look like flowers you see in vases. I think if you paint it silver it’ll look too fake. I think keeping it all white and adding pearls and crystals would be nice OR color the whole flower. I think just the colored tips against your white dress will look you’re holding a mess.

I like the silver photo much better than the pink.  I think I would just use the roses, not the baby’s breath.  To shape it I would also either put taller pieces in the center of a tighter bouquet or make it like it lays flat on your arm.  Feel free to show us more photos.  🙂

Yes, the open roses with the pink look very pretty.  More natural than you trying to pain the tips more.  And the silver gives a nice little sheen.  🙂

I don’t know if you have a Micheal’s crafts near you but they have flowers that already have glitter on them (not like covered in glitter but they have a little sparkle to them). They’re really pretty – so you might try looking there (I couldn’t find a picture).

I think that some nicer looking fake flowers would make it look better.

I’m sorry but I don’t like them. I think its the flower choices. The bouquet just looks soooooooooo fake.

I like cammrie’s idea of buy flowers with glitter already on them.  I’ve seen a few and they look nice, aren’t super expensive, and leaves more time for you to do other things.  I would take out the baby’s breath and just do different types of white flowers for some depth.  Maybe you could use some bouquet jewelery to give it the bling you are looking for.  You can even make the jewelery yourself.  All you need is wire and beads that you like:

Here is a site that sells bouquet jewelery, but you could just a easily make them:
