- Wedding: December 2014
So I’m finally married! I was feeling so anxious the day of my wedding. My hair and makeup lady was late and I wasn’t done until literally right before the first look. I wasn’t able to go see the venue before hand which bummed me out. Especially when I finally went down and saw that the family members that set up the venue had put the centerpieces together wrong… and I’m pretty sure the photographer had aleady taken photos of the tables. Before the wedding started I fixed them all the way I wanted, so maybe she shot a few more… And the cake people forgot a dozen of our cupcakes…
Other than that the wedding went by without any issues! The ceremony was short and sweet. Which I was fine with because I was so so nervous about reciting the vows in front of everyone. I am NOT a public speaker… (and we only had 34 guests!) We had all the photos done before hand so we were able to move directly from the ceremony into a short cocktail hour while the bar opened and appetizers were served. We had our first dance, ate dinner, cut cake and that was pretty much it. We didn’t have an open dance floor. We had plenty of time to mingle and then changed into some comfy clothes as guests started leaving. (Matching Mr. and Mrs. sweaters 🙂 ) Wedding started at 5:00 and I think we left around 8:30. And heading from Fort Worth to Galveston to get ready for our cruise the next day!
Now I am (im)patiently awaiting my professional pics!
One of my friends got ready with me and has a fancy new camera and decided to get some good practice in on my wedding day 🙂
