- Wedding: October 2010
The day started at around 7 a.m. It was COLD and foggy on the lake. We were going to try to decorate but I was tooooo cold to stay out there long. By noon, the weather was absolutely gorgeous! It was 70 and sunny all afternoon.
We had some glitches – but honestly, in the moment it wasn’t even relevant. My husband’s (tee-hee-hee) tuxedo jacket was too small and we got it about 3 minutes before we were supposed to start. The violinist called 45 minutes before she was supposed to show up to say she “didn’t feel good and wasn’t coming.” My Maid/Matron of Honor got on the phone with her (out of earshot) and later came back and said “She’s on the way”.
It went by SO fast. They sent me out and it seemed like a moment later, we were in the receiving line! My dad looked so handsome and he was so nervous 🙂 When hubby and I were standing there, I was shaking like crazy!!!!! I didn’t cry, but I was trembling!!
The day was perfect, the experience was terrific, and the end result is that I’m the wife of the most amazing man ever!
