The best moment of the afternoon.
I turned him around.
And went in for a hug.
In my love’s arms.
The safest place in the world.
Hands around the waist.
Taking a look at his bride.
We kiss, despite objections.
A good photo.
Fixing his boutonniere.
Bridesmaids are peeking out the church doors!
Gazing into each other’s eyes.
The sunset over the church.
The veil looks lovely.
Watch it dance.
A smile before we go to take our photos.
Up next: the photo shoot!

Beautiful. You both look so happy.
By The Way, we kissed during our first look too–a lot! haha!

@Miss Tattoo: Thank you! I originally wanted to get married in the snow, and if I couldn’t have that I knew I needed a first look in it! This was right after the blizzard, too, and we had almost two feet and huge drifts.
@Mrs Hedgehog: Thanks so much! I’m glad you think so, I was afraid our low-budget wedding would look cheap 😀

@Loribeth: Haha, good we’re not the only ones! Of course the grandmothers were agast. 🙂

@Golden139: That’s so sweet! Thank you 🙂 I got some of my favorite pictures from the first look 😀

What kind of flowers were in your bouquet? It is very pretty.

@MsBrooklynA: Full burgundy roses, red peonies, and dark red sweetheart roses. I was astonished by how pretty it turned out… only a hundred dollars! I thought it would be much smaller, I asked for a small (to help my budget) round bouquet with very little greenery. She did a great job 🙂
@Miss Sydney: Thank you! Actually no, my dress was so hot because of the underskirt and layers that I think the bottom compensated for the top… I didn’t even notice the cold til right before we went back in 🙂

@SnowPeony:I had no ideao peonys were available in the winter. Love them! $100 bucks is a steal!

@MsBrooklynA: I wasn’t sure either, but she said it was no problem! I guess nowadays you can get most flowers at any time, they’re just pricier at certain times. My bouquet would have been even cheaper if not for the peonies in February.
