That’s right Bees!! This Tuesday, I went on a FABULOUS 4 day vacation with my boyfriend FIANCE (eek!) to Disneyland! On Wednesday, we spent the day in the Disneyland park, riding rides and took some great daytime pictures in front of Cinderella’s castle. That night, we had reservations for the Blue Bayou restaurant. We went and ate a fabulous, romantic dinner, then walked over to the middle of Main St. to watch the fireworks.
Unfortunately, we didn’t realize how early people get ready to watch the fireworks, so we ended up in a roped off section on the side with a bunch of trees in our way. We were able to see the fireworks, but not without screaming babies, my aching feet, and his swollen knee (he pulled a muscle 3 days beforehand). He asked if I would want to take pictures in front of the castle after the fireworks because it’s so pretty at night. I agreed, but after the fireworks became irritated that it was going to take a half an hour before we could take them! We had to be up extremely early the next day for magic morning.
I told Fiance I would rather just go back to the hotel, he said we can if I want, but then I decided to just stay because I really wanted the pictures. As we walked up to the castle, we heard people cheering only to find out that a guy had just proposed to his girlfriend. Needless to say I was a little peeved…I think my exact words were: “thank you very much, universe!” Fiance laughed as we waited in line. When they let the ropes down, we were second in line. The photographer had us do a bunch of cute poses, then one last one of him kissing my cheek, as I turned around there he was on his knee. No speech, just a simple, “will you marry me?” I pretty much was a sobbing mess, but I did say YES! So…now the REAL drama and stress begins and I couldn’t be more EXCITED to marry this man!!!
