@CakeyP: IMO, the new shoes are making a big difference!  Everything looks much better.  Can hardly wait to see the long skirt now!

@CakeyP:  Those shoes are so lovely! The petticoat colour is great as well. I think you could wear it with or without, both look equally good. You look great!

@CakeyP:  So, not sure how I ended up at this 3 week old post but I wanted to say a few things.

I love your dress, I love it with the petticoat, I love the new shoes, and you look fab.

Now here is some advice (not sure if you fixed some of the old issues you were having).

As far as a bra, I have been wearing Victoria’s Secret darling twist front when I need something low cut.  It doesn’t look like a low cut bra but for some reason it always works for me.  Maybe bring your dress with you and try it on?  It also has a little bit of a push up which may help with the extra fabric you have at the top. (It looks like the dress fits you perfectly, so I’m only commenting based on what you said earlier, btw.)

Also, fashion tape.  Just a few squares on your skin will keep the dress in place and you won’t feel like you’re falling out of your dress when you bend over.  You wouldn’t believe how many people wear fashion tape at major events (think Grammys, Emmys, The Academy Awards).

And as far as a veil goes, if you think you may have veil regret, I saw (but cannot find) these tiny veils online.  It’s not even a birdcage veil.  It was basically a hair clip with a flower or pearls and about 2″x3″ of netting.  It was clipped into the side/back of the head and didn’t touch the face.  That’s what I was planning on getting for my wedding, but I just can’t find them right now.

Not sure if this picture will work, but it was similar to this idea (except it was just a clip, didn’t wrap around)
