So I just picked up my wedding band this past weekend and even though I knew what it looked like I didnt have alot of time to sit and stare at it at the jewellery store. My ring and the band came as a set and now that I see them together I dont like it. The wedding band is way to curvy and it cant ever be worn on its own. I also think it looks off cause the other side isnt balanced. I told fiance and he was hurt that I suddently dont like it..I dont know what to do! We are on a budget so I dont think I can change it. What do you think? Does it look terrible? Would a band on the other side balance it out?

I think they look gorgeous together! I also think you’ll like the set even more when you get a matching band for the top on your next special anniversary. 🙂

ASk him for an anniversary band next year or in a few years depending on when you can afford it. That way it will be balanced. I had a chevron band like yours and that is what I planned to do on a future anniversary.

I think your set is very pretty! If you want something to wear on it’s own, you can always get a plain titanum or gold band. I would keep the matching band. I tend to prefer matching sets, but that’s just me.
I think adding an additional band to the other side would make it look more balanced but as the same time take away from your e-ring a bit because it will be busier.

if you only got it this past weekend, can’t you return it? I don’t understand why he would be hurt over a wedding band unless he surprised you with it.
there are tons of different affordable rings out there.
