i like how you normally dress!

the ‘slutty’ dressing sounds gross lol

stay true to  yourself and your style by dressing in what makes you feel good, confidant, comfortable and respectable,

you can dress for Fiance like that in the bedroom

You can dress for summer and still show some skin without looking like a stripper. Get some cute sundresses, shorts, tank tops and skirts and mix them up with your blazers and such you wear normally. A good rule of thumb to be sexy and classy is to pick one area to show off. If you’re going to do cleavage, make sure your hemline is longer. If you want to show off legs, cover up the girls a bit more. You can also play with materials and design. Find nice clothes with something special like a keyhole cutout or a blazer with a see-through lace back. Sometimes sexiness is about teasing. Instead of letting it all hang out, find things that just give him a peek to make him drool a bit.

My Darling Husband loves girls who dress skanky too, but he’d NEVER actually want me to walk outside the house like that. I dress nicely and buy naughty lingerie and he’s a happy guy. πŸ™‚

If you want to go a bit sexier, but still feel comfortable, why not style stalk Kate Middleton? She is never half-naked or tacky, but she does show (subtle) flesh upon occasion…

It’s too easy to dress slutty and look good but In My Humble Opinion I think women who dress more conservatively but still look sexy are WAY hotter….

I never dressed for my age (thanks to a mom who thought I was “too” curvy) and wore clothing way too big for me….I’m a size 8 but thought I was a 12 growing up.  Now I know my true size and “feel” like I missed out on opportunities to dress my age, I find wearing clothes that fit and make me feel confident are the best.

Darling Husband told me that guys look at slutty girls for a couple of seconds (because they are visual creatures) but it’s the ones that don’t have everything out on display that makes them look longer…works for me!  If I had that outfit you posted, he wouldn’t be able to keep his eyes off me.

A really fun trend right now is the shorts, blazer and t-shirt which allows you to show some leg while still maintaining a level of sophistication. An idea you may be able to incorporate into your summer style is summer scarves. If you have a low cut v-neck, or one of those tank tops with the scoop neck built in bra, throw on a lt. cotton or silk scarf for modesty and take it off when you are with Fiance.

What about getting some tank tops and shorts to wear around the house– like PJs or dressing like he likes when you’re lounging?

I wouldn’t be comfortable putting myself on display for everyone to see, but maybe that could be a compromise?

@shalynnmarie:  I just looked at that site and WOW!  I wish I could muster up the courage to buy some of those dresses and actually wear them out….in public…with people staring at me!  But their costumes are just what I might need to wear around the house!

Would it bother you to show off your back?  Shirts with low scoop cut backs can be really sexy without showing too much cleavage.

I like your regular style.  My Fiance is like this a bit, too.  He’ll be all gaga over me when I’m wearing something too small (which I feel gross in) and doesn’t like it when I wear anything baggy.  Like you, it’s certainly not an issue of conflict or even conversation, but I know how he thinks!

See if you can shop for some casual summer dresses.  You can always dress them up with a half-cardigan or something if you feel too “naked”. πŸ™‚

There is a huge difference between dressing slutty and dressing sexy.  Slutty may momentarily catch their attention, but most men actually prefer their woman to dress sexy with class, at least my Fiance does.  Something like this:

I like the way you normally dress πŸ™‚

My Darling Husband likes how I dress and wouldn’t want me to dress any differently in public… However, if I’m just rushing to quick try something, I don’t put a cami under something that I would normally wear a cami with… So it’s like super obnoxiously low – not how I would EVER dress outside of the house… and Darling Husband lovessss it πŸ™‚ …He pretty regularly mentions outfits like that and wanting me to wear them πŸ™‚

So, I compromise by showing more skin at home – just for him πŸ™‚

I dress in mostly jeans and a t-shirt outside of work, simply because I have to wear business casual AT work. My SO loves the look; actually, he prefers that OVER wearing something that shows more. The girls that get his ‘attention’ are 95% of the time dressed conservatively, with maybe just a teensy bit of cleavage or leg showing.

^Just one of the reasons I love him.
